Image Magick

Resize an Image using mogrify:
mogrify -format jpg -scale 200x200 imagename.jpg

Stamp one image onto another:
composite stamp.png image.jpg composite.jpg

Stamp all images in a directory
ls *.jpg | xargs -i{} composite stamp.png {} comp_{}

Make thumbnails of all images in a directory:
ls *.jpg | xargs -i{} cp {} .thumb_{}
mogrify -scale 100x100 .thumb_*
